Monday Madness: Win a Munchler!

When you were growing up, didn't you always just have to have the coolest lunch box? You would make your mother drive all over until you found the one Care Bears or Hello Kitty on it. Well times are changing folks and although those tin lunch boxes bring back a lot of memories, Munchlers are so much more cute!

Today we are giving away one Munchler ... winner's choice! To enter, simply comment on this post telling us what kind of lunch box you had as a kid. Don't forget to include your name and email address so we can contact you if you win. If you are not a blogger, simply click "anonymous" and you will be able to comment.

Good luck! Contest ends Monday at midnight PST.

**CONTEST CLOSED ... CONGRATS TO JOCELYN!!**

I had a Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox, I loved it so much that I used it for years and would take it everywhere with me. I even used it in the summer to carry my current toys.On the weekends I would make my mom put my lunch it. I did eventually wear it out and had to get a new one, but none compared to my Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox!

I think mine was a He Man lunchbox. I remember wanting to be cool and use a paper bag like the other kids, so I got rid of the lunchbox early on. Darn peer pressure. :)

im going old school here- I had a sesame street lunch box. I still remember the clanging sound we would try to make going down the hall at school, running our lunch boxes along the wall. My email is hrhsarah1@yahoo.com. (Sarah)

I had a Holly Hobbie lunchbox which I hated because I wanted Star Wars...

As a grown-up, I have both. Plus many others. I think I am compensating, for sure!

Mine was bright purple plastic with a huge sticker that had Jasmine from the Aladdin movies on it!! The thermos had the nifty little top/drinking cup complete with handle and all! I used it for so many years that the incredibly high dollar sticker eventually wore off. I carried it anyway though! I can remember taking it with me for the first day of sixth grade...I realized that noone carried "lunch boxes" anymore and that I looked like a total nerd!! Needless to say I hid it in my back pack and from then on I only used it in the privacy of my home!!! :-) Man, those were the days...

Thanks,
Kim

Honestly, I can't remember having a cool lunch box, but so desiring one! I am pretty sure our lunches were toted in the extremely drab and practical brown bag (oh those cream cheese sandwiches wrapped in wax paper!)

Back in the '80s I had two Smurf lunch boxes. One was Smurfette and the other was Papa Smurf. My brother had a Transformers, which we sketched in the dinobots. Each had their unique thermus. In fact my parents still have the old thermus of Papa Smurf. I remember eating a special type of Spaghetti O's out of it, zoo animals I think. Wow, great memories!
