HOW DO I USE MY COUPON/VOUCHER CODE? TOP
If you have a coupon code to use, the code must be entered at checkout under "Voucher". Follow the instructions by clicking on "Recalculate" to get your total. Only one coupon code may be used per order. If you experience problems with a coupon code, simply note the code during checkout in the "Special Instructions" box and we will make sure that it gets applied.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY? TOP
Domestic orders ... Shipping charges are $5 for standard shipping via USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground or other shipping services. Express shipping charges are $20, although express shipping is not available on some larger items.
International orders ... At this time, we can only process Canadian orders on our website. Shipping charges for Canada are $15 for standard shipping via the United States Postal Service. Express shipping is not available at this time to Canada. All other international customers may contact us to make arrangements to place an order with the appropriate shipping charges.
Orders containing in stock items are fulfilled and shipped within 1-2 days of purchase. Please note that some of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer and unless noted in the product description, those items will typically ship within 2-3 days of purchase. On occasion, we may be notified by the manufacturer that a particular item is out of stock and if applicable, we will notify you of that situation as soon as possible.
Due to the fact that some of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, an order containing multiple items may be delivered in more than one shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT? TOP
The Polkadot Platypus will gladly give you a refund or exchange on most items if you return the item in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of purchase. Items that are returned after 30 days of purchase will be issued a store credit. Items that cannot be returned include personalized and final sale items, which will always be noted in the item description.
If you need to return an item, please contact us first to obtain a return authorization number, which you must include with your package. Returns that are received without a return authorization number will not be processed and will be returned to the sender. Once an authorized return is received by The Polkadot Platypus, a credit will be issued in the amount of the purchase, less any promotional discounts or shipping costs.
DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX? TOP
Unless you live in the Commonwealth of Virginia, there will be no sales tax. For Virginia residents, 5% sales tax will be added to your order.
DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT? TOP
Unfortunately, at this time we are only available online. However, we often make arrangements with local customers for free pick up/drop off of their orders. In this case, if shipping is applied to your order during checkout, just note that you are a local customer and the shipping fee will be refunded. Please contact us if you have any questions.
