WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover via our secure server. We also accept Paypal.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

We currently ship within the Continental United States, as well as Hawaii and Alaska. We regret that we are unable to ship internationally on a regular basis. If you are an international customer and are interested in placing an order, please contact customer service for assistance.

We use both USPS and UPS for ground shipping ... if you have questions about which service will be used for your order, please contact customer service. Please note that we ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Orders containing in stock items are fulfilled and shipped within 1-2 days of purchase. Please note that some of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer and unless noted in the product description, those items will typically ship within 2-3 days of purchase. On occasion, we may be notified by the manufacturer that a particular item is out of stock and if applicable, we will notify you of that situation as soon as possible.

Due to the fact that some of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, an order containing multiple items may be delivered in more than one shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

The Polkadot Platypus will offer a refund or exchange {less promotional discounts or shipping costs} on most items if the product is returned in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of purchase. Items that are returned after 30 days of purchase will be issued an electronic store credit. Please note that any product not returned in its original condition and packaging will be refused and returned to the customer. Items that cannot be returned include personalized and final sale items, which will be noted in the item description. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?

Unless you live in the Commonwealth of Virginia, there will be no sales tax. For Virginia residents, 5% sales tax will be added to your order.

DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT?

Unfortunately at this time, we are only available online. However, we often make arrangements with customers in Northern Virginia that wish to pick up their orders. In this case, if shipping is applied to your order during checkout, please note that you are a local customer wishing you pick up your order and the shipping fee will be refunded.
